See what the community is saying about Home Street Home - The Virgina Beach Chronicles.
Recent Review in the Virginian-Pilot
In the tradition of Grapes of Wrath and Oliver Twist, this work of literary fiction tackles the new reality of homeless communities - the social dynamics and the many varied types that make it up. The author, during three years of living the homeless lifestyle in Virginia Beach, felt compelled to bring the subject to the public in a fresh treatment - the magic of dramatic fiction.

I just joined and did all the other stuff, too. Not that I need a book. I already have one and read it. It is a spot-on picture of being poor in Southeastern Virginia. I imagine its the same everywhere now, but I know this area well; and Home Street Home nailed it!
